Usolli is on Kickstarter now! I played the probably final prototype in December, and greatly enjoyed the game. It is from fellow Malaysian designer Ahmad Salahuddin, and the game is about the Muslim daily five prayers.

HackGuard is an upcoming game from Kakumaru Games from Tokyo, Japan. It is a minimalistic, 15-minute, 2-player abstract game about hacking into your opponent's private network. Follow their Kickstarter page to be notified when they launch.

EX1ST GAMES will soon launch a new Kickstarter project for the Cthulhu version of Coinsides - a boardgaming accessory which looks absolutely stunning. This one coin can serve as 9 different dice.
This looks cute. It's already funded on Kickstarter. It is a simple card game from Japan. I like the artwork and the packaging design.
John Peck from Germany got in touch with me about his game currently on a Kickstarter campaign - Fightlings. It's a 1v1 card game with a Memory element - you try to find matches from a pool of face-down cards. It's a short game. Your fighting deck consists of 17 cards only. There is deckbuilding - you can customise your deck. The artwork is beautiful (see above). I was intrigued to find that this card game is based on (but is not a direct port of) a successful mobile game, also called Fightlings. I am curious to try the mobile version, but unfortunately it is not yet available in the Malaysian Appstore. Check out the card game Kickstarter campaign!

The Peides Curse: Earth is a strategic board game for 2 – 4 players. Battle for the survival of Earth and mankind in hostile landscapes where danger lurks at every corner. Put on the superhero’s persona and harvest its power to stop Evil from spreading its malevolent supremacy over Earth. Break the curse now!
The Peides Curse: Earth is a game about saving the world from falling into the hands of Evil. The players take on the role of heroes with supernatural powers. These select few have travelled through time into the future, the year 2223, to help the Spirit battle its arch nemesis, the Evil forces that have taken control over Earth.
The players, which take on the role of the superheroes, shall race against time and with much haste to collect 9 secret codes to open the door to salvation, the Heaven’s door. The players’ strategy and cunningness are tested as they are trapped in the battle between the Spirit and Evil.
You shall be tested at every level. How good are you at deciphering and decoding the codes? How patient are you as you laboriously struggle to collect all the codes? Will you ultimately win the race?
