In about 13 hours the doors to the Essen Spiel fair 2024 will open to enthusiastic boardgamers from around the world, and I'll be somewhere in that crowd. I arrived in Essen today. I visited Cologne and Bonn in the past few days. This is my first trip to Germany. I visited the fair grounds today. I couldn't get inside since I wasn't an exhibitor. It would have been nice to see the behind-the-scenes work. I can only say... I'll be back!
